The office staff was nice and Emory seemed to really like the nurse, even after she gave her shots. Emory weighed in at 19 lbs, 10 ounces...still not breaking that 20 pound mark! She's in the 5th percentile for her weight. She was 31.4" long, which is the 75th percentile. So she's long and lean right now.

We have to go back in a month to get the second half of the flu vaccination, because they are comining the seasonal flu vaccine and the H1N1 vaccine this year. Emory was so brave and only cried for a few seconds right after the first shot and during the second one. The nurse was super quick and by the time I picked Emory up, she quit crying right away. Because she was such a brave little girl, we treated ourselves to this:
It was a pretty fun morning, considering it included a trip to the doctor's office! How lucky am I that I get to spend my days this way??? There is absolutely nothing I'd rather be doing.
