Emory has recently discovered her poodle purse. She noticed it hanging in her closet and asked me to get it down off the hook for her (well, held both arms up grunting and pointing until I handed it to her). So I started telling her that since she had a purse we needed to go shopping. Well, little stinker got that purse on her arm and made a beeline for the back door (where the pointing and grunting started up again). She took me literally! So she likes to get her purse now when we are going somewhere. She doesn't think of it every time, but if she knows we're going somewhere and the purse catches her eye, she grabs it. The other night she even had to take it on a bike ride. It's pretty cute to see her carrying that purse around on her arm!
And for the record, those are pajamas she's wearing. I do not hike her pants up and tuck her shirts into them when we're out in public. I do think it's pretty hilarious though, when we're just around the house. She doesn't mind if I laugh at her. Besides, those pants are really long and it's a safety issue, so she needs them pulled up high like that...
